Remarks

A module with a compile error does not load, and its code does not run: what evaluates such an expression evaluates it outside of one - a statement of an interactive session, a test that evaluates code without loading it. It is evaluated as it would be late-bound (Late), which raises what MS-VBA raises for the same expression when its object is only known at run time: error 438 for a member the object does not have, 449 for an argument that is not optional, 450 for one too many, 13 for a value of the wrong type.
